Breaking Stereotypes

50 years ago, I embarked on a journey of change and courage. A progression of this magnitude for a five-decade-old company is no small undertaking, not least during all these years where there were significant economic and industry challenges. I am proud of how Tanzania Brush Products has embraced change, solitude and innovation in the last few years to serve the need of 56 million Tanzanians and growing, including cutting across the needs beyond borders.

Breaking Stereotypes

We, at Tanzania Brush Products, strongly believe that empowered women contribute to the well-being and efficiency of whole families and communities at large, and they advance prospects for the coming generation. Therefore, for more than 50 years now, Tanzania Brush Company advocates and prioritizes women employment openings by giving women equal opportunities as men in all aspects of our sectors and forming gender-sensitive company policies to support Tanzania's vision of spearheading gender equality and development in the country. Currently, more than 40 per cent of our employees are women who are redefining gender roles in the industry by taking up jobs that were once only reserved for men. We also believe that our corporate success is based not only on having the best product but on having the best supply chain management practices that begin from manufacturing our product to selling it. And this includes ensuring women are involved in every decision-making and product-making step.
